Practice Schedule
2024 practices begin on Tuesday, May 28th. Last day of practice is Tuesday, July 16th.
PRACTICE TIMES
Swimmers 10 and Under - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings 5-6pm
Swimmers 11 and Older - Monday, Tuesday, Thursday evenings 6-7:30pm
NOTE: These are the practice times for most swimmers, but actual assignments and times may change depending on number of swimmers in the various age groups, skill levels, family needs, etc. We do our best to support all swimmers in the program while balancing the practice groups to ensure optimal coach to swimmer ratios.
Swimmers are expected to attend practice. The MORE your swimmer comes to practice, the BETTER your swimmer will get! Plus, your swimmer will be prepared for his/her meet events. Please make every effort to swim at least 2 practices each week. Practices are tailored to support several skill levels and each practice session builds upon skills learned in the previous sessions. Try not to miss too many.
**Severe Weather Policy**
If there are storms in the area during practice time, we ask that parents remain near the Swim Center in the event that the pool is closed and practice is suspended. The pool will be closed if lightning is observed in the area. The pool will remain closed until the area is lightning-free for 30 minutes.
